1. Decide what you want to do with your life. Your “what I want to be when I grow up”.
  2. Don’t concern yourself with what people think of it.
  3. Don’t take advice from anyone who hasn’t been successful in achieving happiness in their own life.
  4. List the steps you must take to achieve step one.
  5. Break those steps down to even smaller steps.
  6. Seek out like-minded individuals.
  7. Understand that where you are now is only temporary and the work you’re doing is supporting your ultimate goal.
  8. Silence that tiny negative voice inside your head that’s telling you, you can’t do this,  by repeating the phrases, “Everything is possible. I have the power to achieve this. I have the strength and wisdom I need to accomplish all that I want to out of my life.”
  9. Memorize those phrases.
  10. Commit to working on one step from the list you created that will result in you becoming what you want to be when you grow up, EVERY DAY.
  11. Literally cross each step off of your list as you accomplish it.
  12. Appreciate the length of time and work it took, the sacrifices you made, the strength you discovered you had and enjoy each and every moment of your new happy life.
